Atlantis Day 2 The Beach & a Fish Fry

Day two started out with a great continental breakfast buffet. Which was followed by a day at the beach. Tex wanted to head down town for a "fish fry" which all the locals told us we need to do. Boy it did not disappoint. We had traditional Konch soup, konch fritters, fried red snapper, and lobster with traditional peas and rice. It was to die for.

So, after we came home we were all beat so we took a little nap, After we woke up Tristan wanted to go out and play for a bit so we went out and played with some beach paddles we got. When it got to dark we went for a walk. We found a few small sea shells so I stuck them in my pocket until we got back. We took them out to show them to Tex and it was then we found that one was still alive. Needless to say this caused quit a disturbance. We put him in a cup and took him back out to the beach and let him go free.

Go George.... be free! Needless to say the thought about him snooping around in my pocket kind of freaked me out!

An early dinner calls for room service for desert.

Rum cake is pretty popular here and it was super yummy. The water and sand contrast are some of the clearest I have ever seen.
