Frankfurt Germany to Cape Town South Africa

After a busy week in the city we were off to Africa. The first leg of our trip took us to Frankfurt Germany and took 10 hours. We actually slept pretty well on the plane, I was very surprised. We arrived in Frankfurt at about 1130 am and Grammy was sweet enough to book us a hotel room for a few hours to get some rest. by the time we got there it was about 130. We all settled in for a nice little nap and woke to grab a bite at the local hot dog stand... when in Germany... Paige, you will be happy to know that Iceland still has the best dog : ). After a shower we were off for leg 2 to Cape Town South Africa! After an 11 hour flight we were arrived at about 1030 am. We were greeted by our travel agency and they took us to our hotel. After checking in to the Victoria & Alfred Waterfront it was our goal to stay awake until 8 pm to adapt to the time change. We went out to explore the city a bit, Tristan got an African wrap on one of his dreads, we listened to some lovely music, and did a little shopping. We all made it to dinner except Tex. Tristan struggled but made it through dinner after nodding off on my shoulder a time or two. After dinner it was time for bed!

German Gummi Trolls that Tristan unfortunately left in the hotel when we left... at least I got a picture!
