Our Last Day Inyati

Today we set out for another beautiful day in Inyati. We we blessed with a beautiful sunrise. First on the list is leopard cubs and we were fortunate enough to find the Mamma and her cub with there first kill. On our way we crossed a heard of buffalo. After stopping to spend some time with the leopard we decided to head back to the lodge we we blessed with another heard of elephants which I have totally decided are my favorite. We also passed a structure along the fence line of the game reserve, this structure is where the guards sleep for the safety of the perimeter to protect the reserve from poachers.

After we returned to the lodge for tea we were treated to some mischievous activities by the monkeys. When we headed back out for our afternoon safari Roger and Omega were on the hunt. We were searching for leopard's and oh, did I mention it was mating season. Pretty incredible to catch it on video. The way these two men tracked these cats down was incredible. We were in the bush so thick that we were literally knocking down trees. As we followed the leopards in there mating ritual the elephants were a bit distressed. They were aggravated and fighting. It was absolutely spectacular to watch!

The safari concluded with another beautiful sun-downer where Roger and Omega took time for a selfie with me.

Once back at camp we finished the evening with another fabulous meal. Following the meal the staff blessed Sue with a traditional African birthday celebration in song it was so special.
