Our first full day in Kruger National Park Inyati Game Reser

Our first full day at Inyati "Wheels Up" 630 am. We were off with Roger, our tracker, and Omega, our Guide bright and early. Morning agenda... Leopard cubs and Lion cubs! We saw the leopard cubs but they were pretty elusive. On our way to finds the lion cubs we saw an amazing heard of elephants it was simply life changing! When we arrived at the lion cubs I could not believe how close we got! It was amazing! On our way back Omega offered us the opportunity to walk back to camp. This was a truly incredible experience, and though we did not see any game on our walk the threat of the possibility was frightening. Omega taught us how to track and signs to look for from the game. Omega also showed us various plants used in the bush.

Following the morning safari, Tristan took a quick dip in the pool and boy do I mean quick!
It was so cold!

The afternoon safari led us to a cheetah, leopards, more elephants and so much more! When we arrived at the cheetah Tristan was having a bit of a nap so we thought it would be funny to take photos of both the cheetah and Tristan having a nap. It was hilarious! The evening concluded  an amazing "sun downer"! When we arrived back at camp we had an amazing dinner by an outdoor fire.
This truly was a magical day!

Giraffes only drink every month to month and a half, the fact that we got to see one drink was awesome!

Elephants! Herds of elephants!

FRI 15 JUNE                             AN EARLY WAKE UP, IN WINTER ABOUT 5.30A.M. TO MEET ON THE VERANDAH AS THE SUN RISES AT 6.00 FOR A COFFEE AND RUSKS BEFORE HEADING OUT TO SEE WHAT THE BUSH HAS TO OFFER.  YOU RETURN TO CAMP AT ABOUT 9.30 -1000 TO ENJOY BRUNCH BEFORE DECIDING HOW TO SPEND THE REST OF YOUR DAY.     IF YOU WISH TO GO ON A GAME WALK THAT CAN BE ORGANISED WITH YOUR RANGER BUT UNFORTUNATELY TRISTON IS TOO YOUNG.    I AM HOPING THAT THE WEATHER WILL ALLOW LAZING AROUND THE POOL WITH A GOOD BOOK BUT OF COURSE IT IS OUR WINTER.        LUNCH IS A VERY CASUAL AFFAIR.     A MENUE IS POSTED AT THE BAR AND IF YOU ARE HUNGRY PLEASE JUST ORDER OFF THE MENUE.   MOST GUESTS, BECAUSE OF THE EARLY WAKE UP, TAKE A SIESTA BEFORE STARTING OFF AGAIN FOR THE AFTERNOON/EVENING DRIVE.       RETURN TO CAMP FOR DINNER AROUND THE FIRE IF THE WEATHER ALLOWS.
