Day 5 - Limoncello and the Amalfi Coast

Today we visited a local Limoncello Distillery in Priano. It was so amazing to see the process in real life and realize that we were not too far off last year making limoncello. We had to walk into town and the streets here are steep and narrow. By the time we arrived we had all worked up a sweat. A limoncello tasting is just what we needed!
Once we finished we headed further into town for some refreshments, shopping, and lunch. Gail found a cute little pizza place that over looked the church and the beautiful coastline. The lemon sorbet we had for desert was amazing! We strolled the streets before heading back to the hotel. On the way home we found this cute little fairy garden that we all had to take pictures of.
Once we got back to the hotel we had some down time before getting ready for my “birthday” sunset cruise followed by dinner at the marina.
The cruise was simply spectacular! Snacks, Prosecco, great friends and family! The sea’s were calm and the views were incredible!
We had dinner at the marina once we returned. Lovely appetizers of stuffed peppers, eggplant Parmesan, and a tuna bean salad which was to die for. For the main course some had ravioli, clam linguini, or calamari. Desert was with lemon cake which was fabulous, even with the birthday serenade
What an amazing day!
