The Day after the crash.

The day after the accident Uncle David took us into DC to get our new car. Tristan has been such a trooper during all of this! It took us about an hour to get the car and then we headed off to the Air Museum at the Dulles Airport. We had planned on going to the Smithsonian downtown but this one was close to where we picked up the car. Since we were all tired and sore we thought this would be better today. Turned out this is the one that Tex wanted to go to anyway because it is the one that the Jet turned into the transformer in the movie. This museum was absolutely amazing! The size of these planes was incredible, having them all together in one place. I just could not believe it! TJ did finally wake up and he was so excited!

The first planes are the one's that really amazed me, there was just nothing to them. I could not believe it!

After finishing up at the museum we went back to the Adams and had supper. Nita & Dave have been so hospitable cooking us fabulous dinners. After dinner w went into Fredericksburg for a Ghost Walk in the city. Our guide was very good and once again TJ was a trooper.










After the ghost walk we went to Carl's for Ice Cream. We were all so tired we just headed home to eat it so no scrumptious pictures of the ice cream but let me assure you it was yummy!

Notice the 2 cannon balls still lodged in the Presbyterian Church left there as a reminder of what happened in this beautiful city.
